Xact90 makes 90° edge guides for random orbital sanders. A guide attaches to your sander and holds it square to your work, so you can sand an edge at a true 90° instead of freehanding it and hoping you didn’t round anything over. Every guide is made for a specific sander model, which is why each product page starts with the model number it fits.
Who makes Xact90
I’m Patrick Campanale. I run Created Workshop, where I make things with lasers and 3D printers and share how I make them. Xact90 is a division of Created Workshop, and the business behind both is Campanale LLC in Tennessee. I print, assemble, pack and ship Xact90 guides in my workshop, and I’m also the one who answers when you email [email protected].
Where Xact90 came from
Xact90 was designed by Jason, who worked it up from an early prototype through more than a dozen revisions and sold it on Etsy and at xact90.com. In 2026, Jason passed the Xact90 designs on to me, and I’m carrying the line forward here.
If you read through the customer reviews and notice people thanking Jason, that’s why. Those reviews were written about guides Jason made and sold. I’ve kept them because they’re real feedback on the design, and each one says where it was originally posted.
How the guides are made
Each guide is 3D printed to order and then assembled with metal hardware. Most standard guides bolt onto a printed collar that fits around your sander, using brass threaded inserts so the screws aren’t biting straight into plastic. Pro guides use a draw latch to clamp onto the collar instead. The exact parts that come with your guide are listed on its product page.
Which sanders Xact90 fits
Right now there are guides for sanders from 3M, Bosch, DeWalt, Festool, Makita, Mirka and Ridgid. The model number really does matter here. A guide for the corded DeWalt won’t fit the 20V cordless one, for example, and a 5-inch Mirka guide won’t fit the 6-inch. The quickest way to find yours is Find Your Fit, which only shows the guide made for the sander you pick.
Xact90 isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by any of these tool brands. Their names are only used to tell you which sander a guide fits.
Being straight about fit
I don’t own every sander these guides are made for. The fit details on each page come from Jason’s designs and the guides he sold for those models, and I check them myself whenever I can get my hands on the tool. If a guide doesn’t fit a sander model listed on its product page, send it back and the return is free. If your model isn’t listed at all, email me before you order and I’ll tell you honestly whether anything here will work.
Ordering, shipping and returns
Guides ship within the US. Most are made to order and ship within the time shown on their product page, usually 5–7 business days. You can return unused items within 14 days. The details are in my shipping, returns and refunds policy and the terms of sale.
Questions
If you’re not sure which guide you need, have a question about an order, or bought an Xact90 before this store opened, email me at [email protected] or use the contact page. Include your sander’s brand and the exact model number printed on the tool, and I’ll point you to the right guide.
